Hazmat General Awareness Training

Course Description

This course provides essential guidance on meeting the U.S. Department of Transportation’s training requirements for hazardous materials (Hazmat) and is required by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Any employee involved in the handling, shipping, or transportation of hazardous materials is required to complete the Hazmat Job Specific Training Under Federal law (49 U.S.C. 5101 et seq.). This training ensures your business understands how to properly identify, handle, package, and transport hazardous materials in accordance with 49 CFR Part 172 requirements.

This training is required for any “hazmat employee” involved in transportation-related functions.

This includes:
